Not surprise but the WR battle really intrigues me. Anderson looks good one day Wilson the next. How many will we keep. This and oline are the most interesting IMO.

    Most Likely "Surprising" Cuts:
J.T. Thomas, Eben Britton, Adam Podlesh, Tom Zbikowski

    Most "Shocking" Cuts:
Earl Bennett, James Anderson, Brandon Hardin

Of those I listed, I think JT, Eben, and Tommy Z are the only ones that actually will get cut. JT's just buried, and I can't see us wanting to hang onto him with our other young LBs performing well. Eben's just an unfortunate recipient of not having a starting spot and not standing out over the rest. Podlesh isn't awful, but Tress Way looks pretty damn good so far. Tommy Z just doesn't seem to have a spot that makes sense (but I would like him here).

Earl could be a casualty from not developing as needed. Anderson could just be outshined by rookies and doesn't help in STs like some other LBs do. Hardin needs to get his **** together is really what this is about.

Those are three that I'm pretty comfortable saying will get cut. I remember being called an idiot for suggesting that Earl be cut, I wonder if Emery is really that stupid.

I'm not confident at all that Earl will be cut. I still think it's stupid to comfortably say he will be cut.

However, I can see it happening if Marquess and Aromashodu impress enough in camp. Earl's still our #3 (and probably will remain so), but if a speedster with skills develops, he becomes expendable.

He's been expendable since last season ended. Marshall, Alshon, Anderson, Weems, Wilson should all make the team over Earl, IMO. He took FOREVER to learn the previous offense, this one will be no different, and that's unacceptable with his salary. Cutty no longer needs him either, he has his real buddy here.
