    Blue Jays @ A's (7/29 - 7/31)

    @

    Game 1
    Monday, July 29

    _________
    Esmil Rogers__________AJ Griffin

Other guys: Rogers did some serious tightrope walking in his last outing vs. the Dodgers. The righty allowed a runner in scoring position in all but the first inning, but allowed only two runs and struck out four over seven innings, earning a quality start.
A's: Of the 23 home runs Griffin has allowed this season, 17 have been of the solo variety and 16 have come on the road. He allowed just six hits against Houston in his last start, a win against the Astros, but two were home runs.

    Game 2
    Tuesday, July 30

    _________
    Mark Buehrle__________Dan Straily

Other guys: Buehrle is coming off his first shutout in four years. He allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out a season-high nine batters against the Astros. It was his first complete game since May 5, 2012 against the Padres.
A's: Straily is on a two-game losing streak after lasting just 4 1/3 innings and allowing five earned runs on seven hits in his last start, though he did grab hold of the American League lead for strikeouts among rookies with 75.

    Game 3
    Wednesday, July 31

    _________
    RA Dickey__________Bartolo Colon

Other guys: Against the Astros Dickey once again had trouble with the long ball, allowing his 24th of the season. It was all part of a night where he allowed five earned runs, but managed to escape with a no decision thinks to an offense that struck for 12.
A's: Colon has pitched six or more innings and allowed three or fewer runs in 14 consecutive starts. On Friday against the Angels, he allowed a first-inning two-run homer but recovered well to earn his 14th win of the season.

Oh Donny, you have to hustle on those plays. Lawrie made a mistake but you bailed him out.

Lol, Griffin. He's given up 2 hits tonight in the 5+ innings so far, both of those hits were....you guessed it...homeruns. What a weird pitcher.

Make that 3 hits, 3 homers now hahaha.

Note to Griffin, you might want to keep you're weak *** fastball away from the inner half of the plate. The Blue Jays are pretty good at hitting homeruns lol.

Damn, Donny almost had that one, I thought it was gone off the bat. He's someone who really needs to break out of a funk and that would have helped.
