Would it be wise for the Lakers to target D Granger?

With the lack of variety in 2013 free agency for an All Star or Superstar caliber player should the Lakers look to make a trade using their expiring contracts for players like Danny Granger who seems expandable because of the emergence of Paul George?

As long as Granger is not getting a max deal then maybe and we have to see how he plays coming back from missing pretty much of all last season with a major injury.

I think they would be, i believe he will become disgruntled with the lack of touches. Either him or George will have to go and i believe Granger will get the door shown to him. Its obvious that we will have to wait and see how he is physically this season but by the trade deadline i think we will have a fair assessment of where he is physically.

If i remeber correctly he was an all star before he got injured. He and LameBraud use to go toe to toe on offense and defense.

Granger was a good player pre-injury, but he isnt worth more than 6-8 million at this point in his career.

We would have to give up Nash and no way they take him, or do they?

Granger is getting old and is pretty injury riddled.

As jshorton said, nothing more than 8 million.

One guy compares Granger to Lebron. Another says Nick Young is better than Granger. LMAO

What do I take from this?

    Nick Young > Lebron

It would be wise for the Lakers to shut their mouths about any future transactions. As far as Danny Granger....As good as a player as he is, I wouldn't do anything with him until we found out how sound his knees are.
