We split... We win sanchez's start but verlander gets rocked again and Gonzales baffles tigers hitters.

This will probably be one of Verlander's starts where we're tricked into thinking he's back.
I was thinking the same as GS. Verlander will surprise everyone expecting a terrible performance and dominate the Nationals. Sanchez will be the one that gets lite up.
I'm so torn rightnow. I jhave Strasburg on my fantasy team... But... I love my tigers. Not sure if I should just bench him and hope he gets shelled.
Well that's not an ideal start
what the hell happened? I just put the game on.

Harper tripled and Zimmerman knocked him in
hahaha of course.
Not a good start by Sanchez. Luckily the damaged is limited to just one.
I know our guys like to swing at the first pitch, but Strasburg is too good for us to continue doing that. Only miggy is allowed to do that.
I've complained about that for years but it doesn't change. Why continue to make the pitcher's job easy by hacking away? Take a pitch or two and make him work.
I hear ya lflol. I can understand hacking against some guys, but not studs like Strasburg. I mean there's a reason the tigers are near the top in most batting categories, we can hit. But jeez... Strasburg will be able to go 8 or 9 innings if we keep this up.
It's one of those cases when it works it's the best thing ever, when it's struggling it looks lazy.
I actually was putting this together and looked at ESPN for stats we are #1 in runs, B.A., and OBP. 3rd in slugging.
