Projected 2015 cubs line-up and rotation.

Although, this will most likely never happen, with all these highly touted prospects it is fun to play around with.

    What's your projection?

    1. Albert Almora - CF
    2. Starlin Castro - SS (or 2B)
    3. Javier Baez - 2B (or SS)
    4. Mike Olt - 3B
    5. Kris Bryant - RF
    6. Anthony Rizzo - 1B
    7. Jorge Soler - LF
    8. Wellington Castillo - C

    1. Jeff Samardzija
    2. Travis Wood
    3. Arodys Viscaino
    4. Chris Rusin
    5. Jake Arrieta

    Cubs forum bro.

    Also Alcantara > Castro.

Castro was always overrated and now its clear that he doesn't belong at SS and can't hit enough for any other position. Bully.

No way we have all of our starters both position and pitcher-wise in our system right now. 0% chance.

I think most non-Cub fans haven't found out that Castro has been picking it up again with the bat lately and hopefully put that long, bad streak behind him.

Lineup looks nice! I hope they go after some free agents in the pitching department because that rotation is weak..

For future reference, please purple font posts like this so that nobody thinks you're serious. Thank you. Come again.

Castro has actually been playing pretty well as of late "bro" and it's pretty difficult to overrate a 23 year old who combined for 390 hits in his first two full season in the bigs. Do I think he's a hall of famer no, but I do see him having a Edgar Renteria like career. At least at the plate. Definitely can't argue that he's a Renteria-like defender.

Even with his improvement, the implication is ludicrous. At Alcantara's age Castro was putting up a .753 OPS in the majors
    Thanks JO-MO

Exactly! For the Cubs sake let's hope he's right, but a smart man wouldn't bet on that.

AA has all of the same damn question marks Castro does. Hopefully he abandons switch hitting someday, as I am not a fan at all, and he could be lethal from one side.

The Alcantara love has reached an ignorant level around here.
