    we should've kept adrian beltre?

We should've never let him go..he was great for us and has been great after leaving us..and we've havent found a player to stay in that position since he left...I think we should bring him back once his contract is up..he'll be like 37 once is up but I think we should let him retire as a dodger.

He was hardly "great".. Except for 2004. No way he was worth his contract.

    Which contract?
The $64 million contract with Seattle?

According to FanGraphs, Beltre produced 16.3 WAR with Seattle worth $65.7 million

An average of a little over 3 WAR a year is worth 13 million a year?

Of course we should have kept him. He was worth every bit of money when he signed.
Weve had nothing but garbage @ 3rd for the last 10 years with Nomar the 1 exception...

We have been really bad at 3rd - C. Blake, Dewitt, Betemit Nomar, Cruz, Uribe the list goes on.

Beltre and his agent were asking for too much backed by his 04' season, but man would I love to still have him. He could still be pretty good at 37, and we could throw him on this list of "old broken down, veteran third baseman" lol

Would it have been better to keep Pedro Martinez instead of getting Delino DeShields ?

Duh we shouldn't have let him go, and he still lives in LA, he likely would have taken a little less to stay in LA, but this was the begining of the McCourt ERA, so there you go.

He's 19 and playing in A-ball this season.

Very outside shot at a late-season call up in 2014. Highly unlikely he'd start the year with LA next year.
