Ryan Clady signs new 5yr deal!

The Broncos and their star left tackle agreed Sunday to a five-year, $52.5 million contract, with a maximum value of $57.5 million, and $33 million in guarantees over the first three years. Part of that $33 million is fully guaranteed; another part is guaranteed against injury.

The deal is fresh so all the details arent out yet, but looking at it on sportrac, of the 57.5.. 5 million of that is an all-pro incentive

Edit: Earns an extra 500K per year if named to all-pro team once during the life of the contract, will earn an extra 1.5M per year if named to all-pro team twice.

Excellent. This shows if you put in work for the broncos. You will be rewarded. I hope decker and Thomas realize this.

Very excited to see this get done. Happy to see that the Broncos will pay the players that deserve it. Don't want to turn into the Chargers with a bare cupboard because we refuse to pony up the dough.

    Y1: 1.5M Base, 11.1 Bonuses
    Y2: 8.0M Base, 600K Bonuses
    Y3: 8.5M Base, 2.1 Bonuses

Looking at the terms, the team really gave itself a lot of flexibility on the last year of the deal. Who knows what the market for LT's will be by then but if we run into cap troubles, this contract can be restructured very easily in any of the years. I can see the old base to bonus conversion move being made to free up a couple mil if need be next year.
