It'll be really interesting to see what lineup US brings out the next game. Mix and Holden are playing great together and should start I think in the midfield. Still can't believe Canada lost to that small island, and Mexico if they lose their game I think their coach will be fired.

mexico is a bigger surprise imo, they are ranked as the 20th best team in the world, panama on the other hand is 51st

canada is 88th and martinique (sorry i spelled it wrong before) is unranked

looking at the rankings they are of even surprise, although youd think mexico would be stronger

Torres' service was better than Shea's though. I just want Diskerud and Holden to start together though.

By service I meant more so set pieces when he took them. Shea he had some terrible crosses as well. Believe me I am a bigger fan of Shea and would rather start him than Torres but I think Torres had a better game.

Diskerud is really impressing me the last 3 matches. His ability to stay in space, his calmness on the ball, his vision and passing have been fantastic. Now he needs to stay consistent.

On another note, am I overreacting or have we ever had a deeper player pool?

I think in the CM's part its the deepest we've been. Up top, I don't know Jozy yeah and I guess you can move Dempsey or Donovan up there too but a true striker I don't think we are that deep. Wondo he is playing against crap teams and scoring these goals, he would have to step it up in WCQ or something. Boyd, I like but he still is young so hopefully he keeps growing. On the back line, we do have some depth, LB still kind of worries me though if we have Fabian Johnson at LM I'm not sure Beasley will be the starter there. But we'll see, hopefully he keeps growing there. His pace to match with Johnson has been good thus far.
