All in all, if the Panthers are going to select a QB, Gabbert has to be the pick.
    People take this guy seriously?

If he's the returner, he will be important. Take the load of Cobb. 20th most important? I'm not sure

Even if he's the returner I don't have him 20th.

22 guys start O and D right? Is he really more important that them. I'm not convinced.

Unless he's really quite good, which I think he possibly can be. He's shown flashes.

I smell a bit of "I'll make some controversial picks so everyone talks about it" here.

It's not only the position. I think a returner can be more important than Wilson (if he started) because he isn't a difference maker although he's pretty underrated as a run defender.

And you can make an argument for kicker as a very important position. But I know what you mean.

Ross could be very could. Cobb fumbled a lot in his first year too and in his second he hadn't one fumble.

I sure hope Wilson isn't starting lol

I'm not really worried about the Ross fumble thing. I just don't think he has value outside of the return game right now. But maybe he can prove me wrong. You have to be a high level return man only to be top 20 on this team from where I'm sitting.

    1. Rodgers
    2. Lacy
    3. Bulaga
    4. Sitton
    5. Lang
    6. Whoever the RT is
    7. Jordy
    8. Cobb
    9. Jones
    10. Finley
    11. Burnett
    12. Tramon
    13. Hayward
    14. Shields
    15. Jones
    16. Perry
    17. Clay
    18. Datone
    19. Raji
    20. Neal
    21. Pickett
    22. Hawk

Ross isn't better than any of those guys. Unless Wilde is thinking like he's about to break out or something.

Really interesting list. But I have a few questions.

Which Jones is which? Brad or James?
Clay is behind all 3 top receivers despite the depth at OLB?
Datone is already more important than Raji?
You list every o-liner except for EDS and there is no back up center really?

And yeah, I hope Wilson doesn't start but he was the most average player. lol
If it was last year I could have chosen Walden after Perry's injury. haha

I put Jones on there twice. So it's both of them.

    Those weren't in any order.

I figured EDS was the only one close enough as far as talent or being unproven to Ross that I could leave off.

My goal was to get to 20 guys, not list every single guy I actually thought was better. I simply wanted to prove that top 20 seemed like a joke to me.

Ah okay, now I get it. I thought you ranked them and those were the most obvious strange rankings

Edit: You should have written Jones, Jones and Jones. lol

Putting both Lang and Sitton at 18, makes it a bit easier and can explain why Ross is 20th most important player.

But I didn't know this video exist. Funny guys.
