Matz pitches well again, any chance he'll be called up soon?

Called up? To where? Lol. Maybe to high A ball. I hope youre not talking about him being called up to the majors. Hes still in low A ball, few years away.

Well. Minor league baseball is littered with hitters that dominated at Class A, but petered out at AA/AAA. About 10 years ago, Mets had a CFer, Jeff Duncan, that hit about .390 in the SAL and then .340 in the FSL one year. But the scouting reports were not that positive anyway, and he never did nearly as well at AA/AAA/MLB. So, it will be interesting what the professional scouts say. Nonetheless, always a good sign to hit well than not.
"The 90 wins is about challenge. It's about changing the conversation. It's about framing questions for ourselves as to how we get there. So I stand by the notion that we need to get better, and in doing so we need to set concrete goals for ourselves so that we have sort of specific conversations among ourselves about how we're going to get there." -- Mr. Alderson

I dunno about stud, but a legit first base prospect given the fact that the Mets system lacks them and so do teams all around baseball.

...but you are talking about a guy that will have to mash to make any top 100 lists and even in the Mets system he will be around 20 something.

Syndergaard has pitched seven innings so far and given up 3 runs but 0 earned runs, 8 hits, a walk and 7 strikeouts. 94 pitches, 63 for strikes. He now has a 1.50 era so far in aa. Very impressive. I wouldnt trade this kid.
