They played excellent ball in TO. I have a feeling it will continue, and they will actually dominate this series. Win 3 or even 4. We all freaked out, rightfully so, with the Tigers not showing much heart. Last 3 games though, excellent. I have a feeling something went down in the clubhouse to light the fire. They just seemed like a changed team in the last 3 days. Maybe Leyland did what we didnt think he could do.

Suspensions are hardly ever immediately served.

Read Becks Blog on how the Tigers can use the All Star Game break to their favor regarding Porcello.

Players are allowed to play while appealing suspensions, up until the appeal is heard and processed. What they'll probably do is drop the appeal after he pitches tonight and then he won't even end up missing a start if off days(or I guess the AS break at this point) make it at least 6 days until his next start.

Well.. Porcello seems to turn into Cy Young whenever he sees Chief Wahoo on the sleeve of his opponents.. So, even though he's been deplorably inconsistent, he saves his best for the Tribe..Verlander misses the Tribe in this series.. and for the Indians..Ubaldo will not be seen during this four game series.. That's clearly "Advantage" Cleveland on paper.. but, the games aren't played on paper..

Weather looks like crap for the series.. rain on and off.. kind of miserable.. but, playable. Dollar Dogs and Fireworks on Friday to Omar Vizquel Bobblehead on Monday.. so, bring on the giveaways.. hopefully, the Tigers will be in a charitable mood....

I'm not sure the Tigers have righted the ship yet. They are still too streaky. The first 2 games or so will give us an idea of what to expect.

Exactly this. If we come out strong and ready to go then I'll begin to say the ship is righted.

Dirks bailed Porcello out with that catch. Good work Andy.
