    Cruicial Stretch

    http://espn.go.com/mlb/team/schedule...ngeles-dodgers

If we win this Phillies game we are four games back and a half game behind the Giants

We are now 37-43 and should be 38-43 after the game today

By the end of this 13 game stretch what do you think we'll be?

    3 @ Colorado
    3 @ San Francisco
    3 @ Arizona
    4 vs Colorado

    1st or 2nd place

With good pitching and the bullpen holding leads we should be fine

Were healthier every day and we are playing like it

Except for the 1 game we lost against philly were on a roll

    Hanley puig are amazing

Ideally whatever it takes to get in 1st by the all star break. I think it would give us more leverage to show management with 1 or 2 pieces we might actually make a run at this

I was hoping to be 3 or 4 out by the break. But the way they've been playing and and getting everyone back it wouldn't be crazy to be in 1st it only 1 / 1.5 back...

    Cruicial Stretch

I'm going to be on the edge of my seat every night. In a matter of a week this season went from one if the most disappointing seasons in my life as a dodgers fan, to a season that still has lots of hope.
My heads almost spinning from this turnaround!!!
    Go Dodgers!!!

I am more concerned with us reaching 500 before worried about 1st place. If we can do that by the All-star break it would be huge. It's better to start off the season cold and finish hot then it is to start off hot and finish cold. Let's keep it going, I think with the youth movement we are headed in the right direction, instead of aging veterans who's best years are behind them..

veterans taking young players spots has always killed me

im glad were going the other direction

like i said before id rather bring up toung talent and watch them go thru growing pains that almost every player goes thru instead of watching trash like guerrier

We have 4 old infielders and 1 old pitcher also Uribe is border line old at 34.. Hairston (37), Punto & Mark Ellis (36), & Capuano (35)

I would be okay with getting rid of Hairston when Crawford comes off the DL, and getting rid of Punto or Mark Ellis if we acquire a 3b,ss or 2b..

what pieces? do you mean bull pen pieces? because all the veterns would be hated on after a bad serries with people clamering to let young crapy players take the job. At starter or a postion player.

we need a steady 3B, although i'm content with what we have as they're average hitting wise but real good defensively and you need that next to Hanley.

This is how we do it! I still believe

A starter and a power hitting infielder. I am content with our bullpen using internal options..
