One Moment That Would Completely Change Your Franchise...

They were doing this on ESPN Radio the other day and I thought it was pretty neat.

For example one of them was if Green Bay never traded for Brett Favre how crazy different things would be.

    What would yours be?

(Lame thread I know but it was kind of interesting to hear these people)
When I asked how a Manziel fan could bash Bridgewater's size.

If Eli, or Archie, would've never forced his way out of San Diego after being taken with the top pick

If a young John elway wasn't a dick and forced his way to Denver a lot of stuff would be different not only with the broncos but as well as the NFL.

If Elway hadn't refused to play for the Colts.

Probably never would have been any Manning years

Dan Marino drafting, may have not made us a champion, but gained a fan base & made team respectable for a while.

I'm going to go with 2 items both from my lifetime.

    - Jerome Brown not racing his car on a wet road, the Eagles may have multiple Superbowls and the best defense ever with him next to Reggie
    - Drafting Ricky Williams instead of Donovan McNabb, McNabb was a good QB and with what Ricky was at that time who knows what the Andy Reid era would have been

    edit:

Remember Ricky chose pot over the NFL early in his career at retired early

The tuck rule doesnt bother me as much as the Imaculate Deception. The 1972 team was better than the 2001 team. Oakland would have had a better than average shot to win it all is 72. In 2001, maybe not as good of a shot. Could that team have beaten the Steelers, or the Rams in 2001? I'm not sure. Also winning it in 72, along with 76 would have put Snake in the HOF.

As much as people like to hate on Polian, he made two picks that changed the fate of the Colts, and each time got ridiculed for it by that draft guru "you know who".....

    1) Manning over Ryan Leaf

    2) James over Ricky "Pothead" Williams......

Makes sense. I just assumed that to be an auto-answer for OAK but yeah now that you explain it...

As many problems as Ricky had, he was a pretty damned productive back in this league at times. But Edge was the better pick for sure.

I'm glad you remember that it wasn't cut and dry to draft Manning over Leaf. People have forgotten this.

It was nothing like Luck was.

New Orleans took Lawrence Taylor and not George Rogers.
