Yep Hochman confirmed it
Thank goodness no Hunt of VDN. I don't see reason not to be optimistic here so far. Hopefully they can come through with strong offseason.
You're talking to me all wrong... It's the wrong tone. You do it again and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron. Hey, tell me, does your mother sew? BOOM. Get her to sew that!
I was kinda liking Brett Brown but can't complain about Shaw as a choice.
maybe the signing of shaw will make jefferson come here
Got our GM and now we have a HC. Now get Iggy back and we are good to go.
dang I was thinking Hollins or Brett Brown as both are more experienced (I believe) but can't complain on the signing. He has a great relationship with his players. I just do not see how the triangle offense can work with us. Hollins has that great defensive system and he made mike conley the go to guy when Gay left. He also can work with the bigs and make them more defensively aware. Hopefully, Shaw doesn't disappoint
nevermind. Shaw said he won't implement the triangle offense. Hopefully he will be tough on the team defensively.
He said that he has learned a lot of systems and build on things that the team has done well which is run. He doesn't really plan on using the triangle I guess
He probably wanted Hollins. I still think we retain him, though.David Aldridge @daldridgetnt 5m
@andre (Iguodala) texts he is still keeping options open after Shaw hiring by DEN but has heard "nothing but good things" about Shaw from ex-teammates.
I came by awhile ago in the off-season thread and mentioned that he wanted the Nuggets job, and sure enough he got it
He was credited for development of Lance Stephenson and PG24 this past season, and is gonna be a great coach. I'm very happy for him and wish him the best.
Vogel quote: "Denver just got one of the best head coaches this league will see for years to come" I'm excited.
Hearing rumors that he isnt going to force a triangle offense either, and from what ive heard of him hes definitely smart enough to use the talent we have to the best of its ability
Got us a new GM and a new coach that are both young and smart, if both of them can pan out we have the makings of an optimistic future
well most of us have said that we are built in a similar way to the pacers. Defensively, they were great. We have the potential to be great defensively. Faried and (especially) Mcgee have to be better in this aspect of the game. Hopefully Shaw can work with that.
Will Melvin Hunt be back? I want him back. Or is it possible to get Brown as a replacement?
