What will the Bulls do to dethrone the Heat??

So, after watching the Heat win another ring... How will the Bulls put together a lineup to take out the Heat with no cap space?? I don't think I can handle a 3peat from Flop City..
I truly don't think as constructed, with a healthy D Drose, the Bulls have enough fire power to take them out. It will be a brawl of a series, but I don't see them having enough right now. I for one can not wait till 2014 for them to take them out. I WANT THEM OUT NOW!!!

we really wont do much this offseason,i dont think.i'm expecting something like this rolled out for next season

    rose/kirk/teague
    butler/kirk/?(shooter)
    deng/?(shooter)
    boozer/taj
    noah/draft pick

i think if they do a major overhaul of the roster it will be in the '14 and/or '15 offseasons.

plain and simple, we have to our rebound them, something that when we do, we win, and when we havnt, we loose, as well we have to play great D, that means that we need two shut down perimiter defeners who dont need help off shooters, that being said, Jimmy, and Deng might be those guys. also, Boozer has to play big come playoff time.

this being said, I think we have what it takes to beat them.

I see where you are coming from, and I do think they can make a very interesting series, and could pull it off, but Booz never shows up when he needs too. Bosh has had his number in the playoffs imo. I really just want to see them get their *** handed to them. I guess I'm just a Heat hater and want to be super confident we will kick their pansy a$$es off their high horse. I think its the unprofessional attitude they bring to the game. It's not that their cocky, I could live with that. They just whine like spoiled kids, and when they cry they get what they want. I just want to punch em square in the face, lol.

I think there are many reasons I hate them, the main one started with lebron/wade/bosh **** when they all teamed up but IMO im not so huge on that, but heres where my bigest problem is, there offense is a ****ing joke. there offense is simply a wade James run iso with 3pt shooting which how a team can win like that is a shame in the nba. to me soemthing that it proves is that James in no way shape of form makes players around him better, I mean, bosh simply has become a jump shooter. and a ****** one at that. James is a great player, but the fact that players go there to chase championships Miami should be called the ritrement home because of how many players such as Mike Miller, Shane batier, ray allen, who should not even be in the league anymore.

I don't think that we need HUGE changes. Just add a second solid scoring option and hope that Rose will be the same or better. Becouse Wade is now out of his Prime so it's would be just Lebron and Bosh + an old Wade. Allen will be gone. I think, if Rose plays like the MVP Rose again, we can beat the heat next season.

I wanna be great... Im Gonna be Great... There is no doubt about it...

Trade Luol Deng for Eric Gordon straight up ( I believe the salaries match up )

    Rose
    E.Gordon
    Butler
    Boozer
    Noah

I think we have what it takes. We need a couple pieces but we are right there. The Pacers took them to 7 and the Spurs took them to 7. When Rose plays we are better than the Spurs and the Pacers. The last time we played the Heat with a full team, we had Keith Bogans and Brewer playing SG, with Watson backing up Rose. This time around we will have Jimmy Butler at SG, with Hinrich backing up him and Rose. Butler is going to make a huge difference when paired with Rose, Deng, and Hinrich compared to Nate, Nelli, Teague and playing every minute of the game.

    Butler held Lebron to 23.6 ppg, 7.8 apg, 7.0 rpg, .438 fg%
Nelli held Wade to 12.6 ppg, 4.8 apg, 3.4 rpg.
Boozer/Taj held Bosh to 13.6 ppg, 2.0 apg, 8.6 rpg.

We have a great roation, that only needs a few pieces:
    Rose/Hinrich
    Butler/Hinrich
    Deng/Butler
    Boozer/Taj
    Noah/?

This is what we have right now. What we need is a good defensive C to take a load off of Noah or a stretch 4 or 5 who can Complement Noah and Taj's Gritty game, with 3's. We need A guy who can come in with Hinrich and hit 3's at will. But we can't rely on that because we have seen that the Heat can take that away.

What I do if I'm in the Bulls FO is trade our 20th for the Cavs 31st and 33rd.

Draft Isaiah Canaan or Pierre Jackson at 31 and Reggie Bullock at 33. That will give us a long 6'7" 3 point specialist, and a instant offense spark off the bench.

Than depending on where Withey will fall I would think about trading Teague and our 2nd to move up and draft Withey. I know everyone is down on him, but we saw what size did to the Heat in that Pacers series, and I think he could be really good guarding the paint like Asik was. I think people are putting to much stock in his combine numbers and are forgetting how dominating he was in the NCAA tourney. He averaged 15ppg, 10rpg, 5.6bpg. I'll take that at 15 MPG any day. Come out with a line up of:

    Rose/Hinrich/Canaan
    Butler/Hinrich/Bullock
    Deng/Butler/Bullock
    Boozer/Taj
    Noah/Withey

Butler Hinrich Canaan Deng Bullock can all knock down enough 3's. Rose can concentrate on penetration and playing more like Parker, and only taking 3's here and there. Boozer is our offensive scoring big, while Noah is our facilitating passing big. Taj and Withey are are lock down rim protectors, shot blockers, and hard hat lunch pale guys.

The reason I get rid of Teague is because he doesn't really make much sense for us. He can't shoot, and we need a shooter behind Rose.

Agreed with everything you said up to the trade scenario. I'm not a fan of trading down, personally. With that said, I agree with a healthy Rose we're better than the Spurs and Pacers who took them to 7. We need at least one more dead eye shooter and a reliable C backing up Noah. The Heat are a great team but the NBA was a little watered down this post season. The Heat are definitely beatable and we've been the most successful team against them since they've been together. I actually like the idea of trading up, particularly the one being thrown around on here, jumping up to get #13 and Carter. If we did that and came away with say, Dieng at 13 and Hardaway Jr at 20 and then go onto sign Budinger, Mohammed, and Malcolm Thomas, I sincerely think that team is more than capable of beating the Heat in 7.

    Rose\Hinrich\Teague
    Butler\Carter\Hardaway Jr
    Deng\Budinger
    Boozer\Taj\Thomas
    Noah\Dieng\Mohammed

After thinking about it a bit more, I think instead of signing Budinger, use the MMLE to sign Marco.

    Rose\Hinrich\Teague
    Butler\Marco\Hardaway Jr
    Deng\Carter\Butler
    Boozer\Taj\Thomas
    Noah\Dieng\Mohammed

Hardaway Jr plays the Jimmy role and waits a year to really get some playing time. Marco knows the system and is a great stop gap. Then the year after Hardaway Jr becomes that spark off the bench and depending what we do with Deng, maybe even cracks the starting lineup if Butler replaces Lu at the 3. Either way, That team can beat the Heat.

Let Wade continue to get older and let their role players get older. Seriously they're not getting any younger. Wade doesn't scare me anymore. But the biggest thing is health IMO. I'd love to see Thibs be more like Pops and protect his players minutes.

For the first time in my life -- I felt fear. And I was blinded by its brilliance. I believed fear to be a part of the chaos I abhor, but it was more controlling than all the willpower in the universe. And it would be mine.

Wait for MIA to get older and more injury prone, mostly Wade.
