Nice win tonight I really like what Cingrani can bring to our bullpen.

Cingrani is a nice addition to the Pen. Can't help but wonder if he has tremendous success in the pen will he ever be a starter again. He has had success as a starter, so it's not like he is unproven. Right now they need him in the pen, so we'll see how things go.

I'm kinda nervous about putting Cingrani in the pen. Yes, the Reds don't want to use all his options, but I feel like he would be better off getting regularly scheduled starts instead of an inning here and there.

Great win tonight Jay Bruce and BP come up big. Also the bullpen pitched very well last night which was good to see hopefully we can keep it up and win today. A chance to take 3 of 4 from the Pirates today hopefully Homer Bailey gets back on track today.

Simon giving up a lead off single to the pitcher was a killer we should of been out of the inning when Cingrani got Jones. Tough loss now we have a long west coast road trip should tell us a lot about this team.

If the Reds were in any other division they would be in 1st place.

Reds drop to 14-23 on the season against teams with a winning record after Friday nights loss to the Dbacks. Not that we should expect them to be 23-14, but it is worrisome that they struggle greatly against the better teams.

I should also note that 32 of the Reds next 42 games come against teams with a winning record. It will be interesting to see how the Reds fair over the next 6-7 weeks.

14-24 against teams with a winning record. Nice game for Leake and Bruce. Not sure what happens with Chapman sometimes.

Hopefully we can win today to avoid the sweep to start this road trip

Sparks.... lol it worries me too, however I've seen Reds teams fair well against winning teams and not beat the losing teams. go figure....

Its just about getting to the playoffs and its about what you have and how well you are playing when you get there. We will see.

50 of their remaining 85 games are against teams with a .500 record or better. They almost have to play better against winning teams or they may not make the playoffs.
