The fact the Yankees are sending Teixeira home immediately does not bode well for what they are liable to find out about his wrist

Yep, Good thing they kept Overbay for sure. Teix is just pathetic though. Let him miss the rest of the year. I hope to never see him on the field for the Yankees again.

Win win fair deal. No more of Romine.

I like Buck but no. For that call the Marlins for Olivo. He should be cheaper.

Awesome more injuries. Now not only do players get hurt but when they comeback they get reinjured.

The type of injury Tex has is very delicate. I wouldn't be surprised if he needed season ending surgery.

after PEDs and amphetamines banning this is becoming the norm w/ older players breaking down.

I don't want to see people get hurt but now that he has I agree with you 100%
So he has great leather. Other people can play well enough at first. Good riddence. I am sick of his rally killing, refuse to hit the other way, mile high pop-ups.

Kind of like Bautista last year. Came back two games then had season ending surgery.

This is precisely why I said we needed to keep Overbay. Throw the "we cannot justify three first baseman on the team" argument out the window. Unfortunately, it was only a matter of time before one of Youk or Teixeira went down...and now both have.
