Wednesday afternoon at the Showcase Cinema!

Looks like Shields doesn't get any run support, hope that continues

Good at bat by Avila there. Worked the count, fouled off a few pitches and managed to draw a walk. Hopefully this kind of at bats happen more often.

How many games do we have until the all star game? I want to know what it would take for cabby to get 100 rbi's before then.

He generally has a good amount of good at bats. He tends to take a decent amount of pitches...at least it seems that way. It just doesn't seem like anything comes of it most often.

Recently I've noticed that. Early on it seemed like he was swing at everything. Maybe my hatred for him clouded my eyes a bit though. Made it seem worse than it really was.

Nothing he could have done in that 2nd inning other then have his arm turn into a howitzer. You have to play the hops or else bad things happen.

Royals always seem to give us problems so last night's result doesn't surprise me. Take the next two and everything will be fine.
