    Game 1 4:10 PM

RHP Tommy Hanson (ERA 4.19 WHIP 1.43 BAA .287)

Scouting Report: Making his first start since missing almost four weeks while on the restricted list to deal with a loss in the family, Hanson struggled vs. Houston on Friday, giving up five runs (four earned) on eight hits and just two strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
    vs.

LHP Felix Doubront (ERA 4.88 WHIP 1.64 BAA .287)

Scouting Report: The lefty has really settled into a groove of late, throwing four straight starts in which he's allowed two runs or less. He's struck out 59 batters in 55 1/3 innings this season.
    Game 2 4:15 PM

    LHP C.J. Wilson (ERA 3.93 WHIP 1.40 BAA .252)

Scouting Report: Wilson bounced back from a rough outing Sunday, limiting Houston to three runs in 7 1/3 innings of a tough-luck loss. Wilson gave up six hits, struck out nine and walked none for the second straight outing, his only real mistakes being two homers.
    vs.

RHP Clay Buchholz (ERA 1.62 WHIP 1.02 BAA .190)

Scouting Report: After missing a start with soreness in his clavicle, Buchholz returned to throw five scoreless innings against the Yankees, earning a complete game shutout due to rain that halted the game in the sixth inning.
    Game 3 10:35 AM

RHP Joe Blanton (ERA 5.53 WHIP 1.62 BAA .332)

Scouting Report: Blanton notched his third consecutive quality start in another tough-luck loss vs. the Astros on Monday, giving up only two runs on three hits while striking out a career-high-tying 11 batters. Blanton hasn't issued a walk in his last 21 1/3 innings.
    vs.

RHP Ryan Dempster (ERA 4.39 WHIP 1.33 BAA .228)

Scouting Report: Dempster had great command of his fastball his last time out against the Rangers, holding them to three runs over seven innings while striking out six. The 35-year-old has been inconsistent, but continues to strike out batters at a career-high rate.

No game today, but the draft starts in about 45 minutes. Rounds 1 and 2 today, the Angels will have one pick

@JeffFletcherOCR: Confirmed: #Angels will recall Brad Hawpe before tomorrow's games.
De La Rosa was sent down after Wednesday's game.

Hawpe's stats (in the hitter friendly PCL)

    G 37 Avg .305 HR 6 2B 8 OBP .405 SLG .504 SB 1 CS 1

He has played 5 games at 1B, 9 games in RF, and 23 at DH. He was solid for the Rockies not too long ago, and his home/road splits aren't bad. He probably gets sent down when Bourjos comes back, which should be very soon. That is unless someone like Pujols might be going on the DL, or Shuck being sent down.
