    2013 MLB Draft

    Tonight is the 2013 First-Year Player Draft it will be aired live on MLB.com at 7:00 PM ET, we don't have a pick in the first round, we have a supplemental draft pick at #31 with the lost of Michael Bourn, the top 73 picks will being streamed on MLB.com and the live draft will continue this weekend.

    Don't be surprised if we stay in our backyard and take 3B Travis Demeritte from Winder Barrow HS. Here is Mayo's take on him:

    I usually try to pay attention but were so far back it's hard to even guess. Hopefully we cad find a gem bat late like the Red Sox did with Jackie Bradley

    But at 31 bats are really raw and risky so we will probably go with a pitcher again

    I think we should get the best talent at 31 it doesn't matter if its a pitcher or a position player but i agree with you, I think we'll go with a pitcher.
