    Question Top 5 QB

I've been wondering this for awhile. Seeing how Brees, PManning, Rodgers and Brady are the top 4 QBs, which I think we can all agree on for the most part, who is the 5th? Who that isn't the 4 names I have previously mentioned, can have the honor of saying he is a top 5 QB?

    No rookies as options.

    Joe Flacco (BAL)
    Ben Roethlisberger (PIT)
    Tony Romo (DAL)
    Matt Ryan (ATL)
    Philip Rivers (SD)
    Eli Manning (NYG)
    Alex Smith (KC)
    Michael Vick (PHI)
    Matthew Stafford (DET)
    Matt Schaub (HOU)
    Andy Dalton (CIN)
    Sam Bradford (STL)
    Jay Cutler (CHI)
    Cam Newton (CAR)
    Other

Don't whine that a lot of the options don't belong as options. I like to make long lists

    Ryan or Ben.

I think Flacco or Eli have arguments. Oh Romo too. Didn't mean to forget him.

I think its between Ben, Ryan and Eli.

    Ben....

Ryan/Romo/Eli/Rivers/Flacco and the rookies would be in the next area.

What was meant for me will be Mine once again... THE CHAMP OF CHAMPS IS BACK

    Probably Romo.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

I like how Norm didn't vote for one of the 5 QBs he mentioned.

If that's the case then how do you not go with Ben or Eli?

    Clearly the sexiest is Ben.

Ben Roethlisberger for now definitely. Joe Flacco could be there if the level of his postseason play continues through next year. Romo will be in the talk if he puts in a really consistent season again. Matt Ryan's in a tough spot because he's in a lethal offense, so he'd pretty much have to put up closer to Drew Brees type numbers to get that kind of consideration, IMO. I think all of this is possible, though.

After 2010, it was easily Roethlisberger over Eli for 6th behind Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, Brees and Rivers. After 2011, Eli narrowed the gap. Now, after the 2012 they each had, the gap widened again. And Rivers is way down, I hope he makes a comeback though. He's too talented and has suffered on too many overrated teams that he's been unfairly blamed for.

Let's see Ryan have a significantly better statistical season than Roethlisberger, rather than only slightly better like 2012, to match his significantly better supporting cast. That's when I could see Ryan as better than Ben.
