    Mark Streit & David Clarkson

These two wouldn't have to go very far to make the New York Rangers and MSG their home. Streit is the perfect defensemen for our team and Clarkson is nasty and can score and bang bodies. Two players who would address a weakness that was exposed against Boston. Two free agents that will easily help this team to the next level.

    Thoughts?

Wouldn't mind either of them for the right money, but that won't happen. Rangers need their money for their own guys.

If we can't resign Clowe I'd take Clarkson, Streit would be good too but I doubt either becomes available.

I'd like to not have to play clarkson. I feel like he would be like an Avery but bigger and better... And even if we did resign clowe he'd be another big tough body who can score. We hate him now but we'd love him if he played for us. As for streit I'd rather have yandle who obviously isn't a free agent but if you could put a few pieces together I think he could be had. I also wonder who else gets bought out this summer.
