Spence is a monster and can most likely be penciled in as your starter next too McCoy... Means is alreadyimpressing and can have a great shot as a situational pass rusher... Banks is a steal and was projected the best CB in the SEC, he goes on to say the Bucs will plan for him... Then he goes on to say Freeman is the guy, hes looked better this year in OTA's then the past, and granted should seeing as this will be the first time in his career to perform two full seasons in 1 playbook!
Ira said Schiano is gonna put this controversy thing to bed tomorrow!
it seems like a no big deal tho...it was Spences fault...he exploded off the line at zuttah they said...even tho it was supposed to be a no contact drill
so zuttah tried to put the rookie in his place, spence didn't back down...all is fine..hopefully they respect each other a little more now
I actually like this. It seems like there is a fire lit under these guys - they can taste that they should be legit contenders. And this should only be the beginning. We should be perennial playoff contenders. Also, if the rookies come to camp with this kind of intensity, I think it sets the tone for the vets to bring it!
Crabtree is emerging as our tight end with his technique hands and agility... The kid maybe what we thought we were lacking, im feeling a lot better as if we have no holes
Whew that takes a load off my mind cause I've been worried about that position for a while now. The whole Spence altercation reminds me of Barron last year with Price. I like it, it means they won't back down and show some backbone. Now lets channel that onto the other teams and we'll be good
Just an example of a rookie being a rookie and a professional being a professional. The pro knows that OTA's are to be taken easy, and the rookie knows that he needs to stand out. This is not the same as the Barron/Price thing where they were fighting over a chair.
