    Umps blown another HR review

It appears that Molina had a HR against BAL, origionally ruled a 2B, looking at review many thought it WAS a HR, yet ruled a 2B

that's a HR by Molina, no surprise they got the call wrong

Apparently replay must be tough to watch here too, that sure looked like a homer for #Rays Molina

    Nope, it's a double.

Looks like a HR on replays, but Angel Hernandez has final vote - wherever he is

Well I haven't seen it but if its as clear cut as the last one than that's completely unacceptable

How can they keep ****ing this up? Is it possible this really is a statement by the umpires?

Looks like a HR because it hit off that back padding.

How does it even bounce like that? That's a weird area of the fence.

I think it's just their ego's. If they change the call, then that means they were wrong the first time, which they wouldn't like. maybe they should have another umpire somewhere else who can review replays and make a call.

Peter Gammon's said on Dan Patrick's show, that he believes the Hernandez call was to prove a point. He implied that umps around baseball could do the same thing. It appears to be so.

Sort of a passive aggressive protest. Umps have to have the biggest ego's in sports.. I seriously think they sometimes think the game revolves around them.

I hope more and more calls get blown & even the reviews get screwed up.

Maybe this'll lead to reforms to improve the pathetic officiating.

If they are going to have this stupid *** system of review, do what the NHL does, where the LEAGUE headquarters takes a look at the play and decides if its a home run or not.

I'm not sure that is a home run because it hit the wall behind the padding. I think the wall just goes out farther then the padding did

What the **** are you guys seeing? That is CLEARLY a double. It hits off the top of the padding of the CF wall and back into play. It did not hit that FLAT back wall, the ball would not bounce UP while coming DOWN off of a FLAT wall. It's easy to see, quit trying to create controversy, the call was right.

Why don't you look again. It hits the back wall maybe an inch or two above the top of the forward wall then bounces directly down into the top wall which causes it to bounce up which is what you're seeing. It's a clear home run.
