Los Angeles Dodgers (17-22) @ Atlanta Braves (22-18)

    vs

    GAME 1

    570 Fox Sports L.A. , KTNQ 1020, Radio Korea 1540, PRIME/MLB Network

    Hyun-Jin Ryu

Ryu went 6 2/3 innings in his last start, allowing one run on five hits to beat the Marlins. The left-hander has gone at least six innings in eight outings, the only Dodgers starter to do so. The rookie has 51 strikeouts in 50 1/3 innings.

Maholm has allowed three runs or fewer in five of his first eight starts and at least six runs in his other two outings. A couple of defensive miscues hurt him as he allowed the Giants six runs in 4 1/3 innings Saturday.
    GAME 2

    570 Fox Sports L.A. , KTNQ 1020, KCAL

    Chris Capuano

Capuano earned his first win Sunday, striking out seven and allowing one run on five hits in 6 1/3 innings against Miami. The left-hander is 5-3 with a 2.75 ERA in 12 career appearances against the Braves, including 10 starts.
    vs

    Kris Medlen

After producing two consecutive solid seven-inning efforts to start this month, Medlen matched a career high by allowing three homers in Sunday's loss to the Giants. He has allowed seven homers in his past six starts.
    GAME 3

    570 Fox Sports L.A. , KTNQ 1020, PRIME/TBS

    Matt Magill

Magill will start in place of the injured Josh Beckett. He looked good in his Major League debut April 27, allowing two runs in 6 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts against the Brewers. But he's allowed eight runs combined in his past two starts.
    vs

    Mark Minor

Minor has allowed a home run in each of his past four starts. But the lefty has not surrendered more than one run in either of his past two outings. He has compiled a 2.40 ERA in his past 23 starts dating back to July 5.

Braves looked like the best team in baseball early in the year, but they've cooled off now. Really not sure what to expect.

When it comes to the Braves, I've always wanted some payback for the '91 NL West pennant race and the '96 NLDS.

    Future Hall of Shamers:
    (1) B.A.L.C.O. Barroids (2) Mark McJuicer (3) Jose Chem-seco (4) Rafael Palmeiroids (5) Ken Chem-initi (6) Jason Gi-andro (7) Ryan Fraud (8) Muscle Melk (9) Woman-Ram (10) Shammy Sosa (11) Roger Clear-mens (12) A-Roid

Game 2 we'll probably have to hit our way to victory. Medlen and Capuano's stats look like crap.
