Puello now has a 15 game hitting streak as he hit his 3rd homer, so he stays hot.

Ad-Rod is very hot. Slow start could have been due to hand injury.

    Last 5 games: 10 for 22, 5 doubles, 3 home runs.

    That's ripping it.

    Puello with another one.

Verrett quietly is doing well in AA unlike other guys from that draft like Mazzoni or Pill.

I liked Verrett more than anybody of those college guys and this past off season felt that he should be ranked higher than Pill in the PSD rankings.

Oh **** Puello's batting stance looks so much different. 2 homers tonight he is just killing it.

Puello hitting .300/.363/.538 right now. If this dude has a big year, all of a sudden we might have a legit OF prospect waiting to be called up.

I said before the season that this year will be the one where he breaks out offensively if healthy.

The K/BB ratio is still not great or close to what you wished he had, but I honestly just want to see him perform for now and put full use of his tools on the field.

Puello still needs to K less, but if he starts hitting homers, then it's all good. His plus defense and speed will make up for it.

Verrett is in complete control. He manages to keep his BABIP down and doesn't walk guys. That's pretty impressive in AA.

84 pitches for Verrett and 63 strikes to just 21 balls through 8 innings.
