Kevin Durant. The only player on that list to ever score 30 per while having a TS% of 60 or greater in the same season. Also the only player on the list with a 50-40-90 season under his belt. Possibly the best shooter and best scorer on that list.

Alex English by far, Durant and McAdoo battle for 2nd place though it's not fair coz McAdoo was a C/PF.

edit: just saw that Rick Barry is there, him #2 then then the other two

Just a mix of guys who either have lead the league in scoring, or have some great scoring seasons under there belt. And not named Jordan.

As these playoff runs continue - especially without Westbrook now - KD's beginning to enter the realm of being mentioned with Jordan and Kareem among the most potent scorers ever (Jordan's still #1 for me for a variety of reasons), so the deck is stacked in his favor here.

Looking at this list quickly I'd have Lebron and West as the following two.

Best pure scorers off of that list: 1. Kevin Durant 2. Lebron James (people don't classify Lebron as a potent scorer but his career numbers say otherwise. He's a lethal scorer with a great all around game that overshadows his ability to put the ball in the basket) 3. Rick Barry (people forget how potent he was)

Honorable mention: Alex English, Elvin Hayes, Bob Pettit and Havlicek.
