How disappointed are you since we didn't land Shoelace?

I was pretty disappointed we didn't get him. Shoelace on field turf would have added a lot excitement. I think as a RB he could be as good as Tavon Austin.

Hopefully Devin Taylor turns out to be a very good player.

Or how we could have moved down in the 2nd rd and picked up another 3rd or 4th and still landed one of Slay/banks/jamar Taylor/amerson and then took shoelace and devin taylor

But I think Taylor is going to be good.maybe not a great pass rusher but a good one. Plus he is tall and has long arms to block passes

The fact that he was hurt in nearly every college game makes me think hes going to have a hard time staying healthy in the nfl. I wouldve preferred him to the punter but I think devin taylor has a lot of upside and filled more of a need.

Hey Dangill. I agree. Do you think Devin Taylor will start?

I think everyone is forgetting about Willie Young. He should have been starting last year but he had injuries and KVB started over him.

So if young and Ansha start does Devin Taylor still fill more of a need than shoelace? Kick and punt returner. RB. WR. And he also can make big plays.

It's just a school. No reason to hate someone.

I don't like Denard as a player because I don't think he has a true position. I don't think he can play WR because he doesn't have the hands and he's a poor route runner. (obviously can improve like any player but I don't see it) Obviously isn't a QB. RB might be where he finds a role but can he handle the beating the position takes? It seems like he always had nagging injuries every week while he was Michigan so I worry about that.

He'll make some plays but I don't see the long term upside everyone else sees. Maybe he'll prove me wrong. Hope he does. Good guy.

I wanted him on the team, but there were a ton of guys we weren't able to draft. I think he will be good for a play or two a month, but not as a big time regular contributor.

Nobody see him as an electric returner like Hester was until they made him a WR?

I'm pretty dissapointed about it, especially since it looks like we were close to getting him. I don't think he is a lock to be a great NFL player but I think the risk/reward is there for a mid-round draft pick.
