    Dodge Stadium to host Kings

    http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=6...d=nhl:topheads
The Los Angeles Kings play host to the Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium on Jan. 25, 2014.
The event is part of the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series, in which the NHL plans to play a number of regular-season games in outdoor venues in 2013-14. The League already announced another game in this series last week, revealing plans for a outdoor game at Soldier Field, featuring the Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins, to be played on March 1, 2014.

I'm honesty not a fan of this idea. One outdoor game a year is enough, teams can wait to get their turn.

Outdoor game in southern Cali, 2 for the rangers in a week, penguins get yet another. I don't really understand what goes through their mind.

I hate the idea of multiple outdoor games. I probably won't even watch this one to be honest. It just won't compare to 100k+ in the Big House.
You need centerman that can play two ways and if they donít play two ways in the end, you canít win, because the guy you are counting on canít get himself on the right side of the puck enough. So sure he can score, he can score but his team loses every night, I didnít know that was the objective. I thought winning was the objective. So if you centers canít play down the middle, and canít play without the puck, you have no chance.

It's a helluva way to kick off a new Wings Leafs rivalry.

yea it will. I've always like the Wings and i'm not old enough to really know much about the old Wings v Leafs rivalry but i look forward to it. I know it's going to be a great game and great atmosphere.

I actually have more Red Wing jerseys than Leaf ones. My grandfather was a huge Wing fan and he gave them to me. I might wear the Chelios one if the leafs suck next year lol

i really wish Bob Kraft makes a bid for the 2015 Winter Classic. B's / Habs , B's / Rangers, B's / Leafs or B's / Nucks would be great options for Gillette Stadium

All these except for the Bruins and Canucks would be a good idea since they would be original 6 match-ups. However, I would like to see other cities host the classic before returning to previous cities like Chicago. I actually would like to see Colorado, Minnesota, St Louis, Washington and Montreal get a chance at the Winter Classic.
