    Scouting Report:
Phillies: The last time Lee pitched in San Francisco, he threw 10 scoreless innings in a loss at AT&T Park. He hopes for better luck this time, which means he could use some run support. He doesn't seem to get much of it.

Giants: Opponents are batting .111 (2-for-18) against Bumgarner with runners in scoring position, including .083 (1-for-12) with men in scoring position and two outs. The Giants are 5-1 in his starts.

                                            10 BB's 17

    Scouting Report:
Phillies: Kendrick allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five in seven innings Thursday against Miami. He has been the rotation's most consistent starter this season. The Phillies are 4-2 in his starts.

Giants: Lincecum's on-again, off-again season continued in his last start. He allowed five runs on 10 hits over five innings, but the Giants came back to beat Arizona. He had allowed two runs in 13 2/3 innings in two starts vs. the Padres before that.

    Game 3: Wednesday, May 8th @ 12:45 PM

    VS.
    Jonathan Pettibone..........Barry Zito
    Code:

                                            16.2 IP 32.1
                                            13 K's 22
                                            2 BB's 12

    Scouting Report:
Phillies: Pettibone continued to look good. He allowed one run on five hits and struck out three in 6 1/3 innings Friday in a win over Miami. The Phillies are 3-0 in his starts as he fills in for injured left-hander John Lannan.

Giants: Zito struggled through five-plus innings but managed to work around trouble to give the Giants a chance to win in his last start. He allowed the leadoff hitter to reach base through six innings, walking him four times.runner thr

We're getting their two best pitchers. Still, need to take 2 of 3.

Luckily it's Mad Bum against Cliff Lee, or winning 2/3 would look even tougher.

All three pitchers the giants face, are pitching well...

Should be a good tough series. Giants have to get their pitching in order.

Did I miss something? Why did Leandres not make this game thread?
So Anna, what do you think about the notion that Russell Wilson is better than Andrew Luck?

Honestly, why is Peguero hitting 6th? Flip him and Belt and the lineup looks better.

Something is clicking for belt in the 8th whole. Why change it?
