    If the playoffs started today......

Which team would have the most difficulty advancing to a championship?

Assuming the Postseason teams would consist the teams in first place and the Wild Card currently, I would have to say the Rockies. Their rotation is horrible outside of Chacin.

As a rockies fan i agree........ although they have a couple ok guys outside of chacin they would need at least an ace and another top of the rotation starter to actually compete at all

    Houston.
    Favourite Teams:

Boston Red Sox: 5-8, games this week vs. Chicago White Sox (3), Baltimore (3)
Indianapolis Colts: 11-5, 2013 AFC South Champs, great season guys.
Looking for new NBA team to cheer for
Ottawa Senators: 37-31-14, season over, good effort guys.

Why are people saying the Astros? If the Postseason started today they wouldn't be in it.

I believe he means, if the Postseason started today which teams would have a hard time advancing to a championship, meaning those teams that made the Postseason such as the teams in first place and the two Wild Card spots.

Any of the Wild Card teams. It would be NYY @ KC and Cin @ Col.

Cincinnati IMO. Playing at Coors has never been easy.

It's a hypothetical thread don't get your panties in a bunch. Don't post in the thread if you think it's stupid.

I would say Cards and Tigers would meet in the WS if we are going to play this hypothetical and say the best teams in each league thus far and assuming the teams could repeat their performances in the post-season.

But I don't think the Cards (even as big of a fan as I am) will end up as the best team in the NL when the season is over.
