Joakim Noah: "We're going to win"

    http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story...-brooklyn-nets

Joakim Noah wanted to make it clear what he believes will happen when his beleaguered Chicago Bulls face off against the Brooklyn Nets in Game 7 on Saturday night.

"We're a team of fighters," Noah said after the Bulls' 95-92 loss in Game 6 on Thursday night. "We keep getting punched in the face but we fight back. I'm proud of this team, and we're going to go into a hostile environment in Brooklyn and we're going to win."
"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships."
    - Michael Jordan

    Thanks MJ-Bulls for the picture.

Everything tells me the bulls shouldn't win this game. For some reason my gut says they will.

Yeah, but Noah easily could have not said "we're gonna win" too.

I hope they lose. Noah/Taj/Deng/KH are only going to get worse instead of getting better.

Why prolong the injuries? Deng needs his wrist surgery and R&R. So does Jo, and who knows it can get worse. We have no chance against the Heat. Need to get a better C and a back SF/SG.

Jo's injury could get worse, but it could also remain the same and allow him to play. But Deng's wrist cannot get worse at all. It's been as bad as it could be for like 18 months now. I agree, we have no chance against the Heat right now. But, that doesn't mean we should just throw in the towel. That's not the identity of this team.

Deng has the whole off-season to get his surgery. Having surgery sunday afternoon, or May 5th, instead of May 25th, won't matter much. The recovery for that surgery won't be longer than 5 months. And Noah's injury, is also not a matter of length of time. The off-season will allow ample time, regardless of when it starts, to recover.

I just don't get why you purposefully want them to lose now. This team never had a chance against the Heat, even if fully healthy. So why not root for them to lose all of the first four games?

I never was rooting for them to win though. If I did, I wouldn't be excited that the Spurs basically have an easy path to the Finals, besides getting by GSW. Like it maters what I say though, they will go out there and try there best. If they win, good, if they lose, oh well.

I still think Houston is an interesting team this year. Don't sleep on them.

That mindset is fine, but wanting them to lose "because the guys injuries will linger!" is too much for me to agree with

Houston's very much like the New York Knicks in my opinion. Rely far too heavily on the three, have a great defensive center, with a high volume scorer. Neither scare me if I'm the Spurs/Grizzlies/Clippers/Heat.
