    Hall of Fame Teams

Football is often called the ultimate team sport however, the game is full of individual awards.

Which NFL teams from any year past or present do you think as a Team is Hall of Fame worthy?

    If I'm understanding you correctly:

    72 Dolphins
    70's era "Steel Curtain" Steelers
    85 Bears
    Montana/Young's '9ers
    Aikmen's Cowboys
90's era "Greatest Show on Turf" Rams
    00 Ravens
    David Stern's Competitive Balance:
Since 1980, the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, Bulls, and Spurs(5 teams of currently 30, 16.7%) have won a combined 27 of 32 championships(84.4%)
David Stern became Executive VP of the NBA in 1980, and succeeded Larry O'Brien as Commissioner in 1984

Homer Alert What do you guys think about my 09 Saints that was an amazing team? No bounty jokes .

Id think Peyton Mannings Colts and Eli Mannings G Men in their prime years would be HOF worthy?

You can't have this list without the '07 Patriots. I know they didn't win the Super Bowl, but I'm sorry, we've never seen football played at that level. We will never again see a team that played as well as they did from Weeks 1-10 of that season. They have to be on any greatest of all time team list.

    Eli's Giants no.

The odd thing about Peyton's Colts are that the years where they were truly great ('04, '05, '07, '09) they didn't win the Super Bowl and the year they did ('06) they weren't. You really can't pick a definitive Manning Colts team. If anything, I think this year's Broncos have a chance to be the definitive Manning team because they're so freaking stacked. I think it's a given that they're going to win 14 or 15 games and the only team I could realistically see challenging them in the AFC is New England.

No to Eli's Giants? How about that defense led by Strahan that Dline was beastly to me everything the offense lacked the defense made up for. That team the year Strahan won SB was historically good No?

    Absolutely.

Which is why I am so proud to have been a fan of a team that took them down.

Not really. In the playoffs yes, but in the regular season we were just alright.

Overall, I think the 2011 Giants were a better, more complete overall team.
