if not, i'll expect to see him in LA and MD out.
if LAL wants to improve they will have to get rid on MD because no one wants to play for him. his style will never win a championship!
if CP3 and D12 wants to play for the Lakers it will be under a new coach.
    Eagles offseason:
    [] Hire new coaching staff
    [] Restructure Mike Vick
    [] Sign/draft Starting OLineman
    [] Sign/draft physical cornerbacks
    [] Sign/draft Starting Safeties
    [] Sign/draft Big WR
    [] Sign veteran Safety

I don't think Jim realizes that. I'm have accepted the fact that Mike will be back because if he was going to be fired it would have happened already. He's already looking for a defensive coach and Mitch gave him the vote of confidence more than once.
Friend: I think the NBA payed off the Heat in the first yr because of the politics. They threw game four and they payed Lebron because they were angry with what he did. So he had pay one way or another.

F:There is no one in the draft coming out and trading players isn't going to happen. The Lakers are in trouble.

F: Vogel doesn't run that team. Shaw does. If he leaves they are going to suck and Vogel will get fired.

Don't be shocked if The Lakers make some moves this offseason & improove this roster. They are still in a position to compete. If they have the parts to contend, I expect the Lakers to give MD a short leash just like the did with Brown

What if this is a power play by Phil?

Tim Leiweke has already made it publicly known that he'd give Phil whatever he wants to come join him in Toronto. Instead Phil took a position as an advisor in Detroit. As an advisor, he'll have no commitment and the ability to pull chocks for a better destination.

Lakers want DH, DH wants Phil, Phil wants the Lakers; maybe Phil's role with the Pistons is a wake up call to Jimmy

From my understanding this is just a favor he's doing for one of the guys there he's friends with.
