    Coming soon: Kevin Love

"Kevin Love is considered the best power forward in the NBA. He was drafted by the Memphis Grizzles later traded on the same day to the Minnesota Timberwolves for OJ Mayo. He didn’t see much playing time as a rookie that’s what got Kurt Rambis fired. How do you not play a player with his potential? Kevin Love has established himself as an All Star in this league, and he is on the brink of super stardom. He just recently signed a four year contract extension for 62 million with an option to stay a fifth year evening out to 80 million if he stays.

Kevin Love is putting up numbers that haven’t been seen since Moses Malone. He has a 30 point 30 rebound game and a 3/20 game as well. He averaged 25 points and 16 rebounds last season. He won the 3 point contest at All Star Weekend last year. Kevin Love has stated “He will leave Minnesota if the Timberwolves don’t make the playoffs this year” Rumors are circulating he wants to be a Laker a team he grew up rooting for. He may not leave this off season or demand to be traded. He may wait a couple years and see when Kobe’s contract is up with the Lakers. Imagine him teaming up with Dwight Howard. That would be a nasty combination.

LeBron will be a free agent around that time as well. It’s crazy to think about but if the Lakers can coup LeBron James, acquire Kevin Love via sign or trade, and resign Dwight Howard after this season. That will be one loaded team, if not LeBron maybe Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving. The Lakers always seem to get what they want. It is not farfetched; I mean they did just sign a 20-year three-billion dollar contract with Time Warner Cable. That is an extra 150 Million Dollars a year in revenue. Luxury Tax will not be an issue. The Lakers sell out all the time, they also make 7 to 9 million each Home playoff game. A dream scenario for Lakers fans is on the horizon."

Not the newest of news. But a possibility to look forward to.

Nobody thought the Lakers could get CP3 and we almost proved them wrong, but Adam Silver ****ed ****ed everything up.

Nobody thought we could acquire Howard and look what happened.

    Nothing is set in stone.

Anything is possible in Lakerland, I do believe there will be a big three in LA the only questions is who and when? cuz we all know it will happen sooner rather than later. I dont see it happen this offseason, at the earliest maybe next summer, but for sure by 2015

Yep. This off-season im looking forward to a minor bench overhaul to back-up Nash, Pau and DH12 while kobe rests.

    Considerations:

1.) Amnesty World Peace and sign two to three pieces.

2.) Go hard on OJ Mayo and another shooter for cheap like James Jones (former sun).

3.) Tony Allen as the perimeter defender or Trevor Ariza for cheap.

    James Jones 2013 Salary: $1,500,000
    Dorell Wright 2013 Salary: $4,106,000
    Nick Young 2013 Salary: $5,600,000
    Tony Allen 2013 Salary: $3,300,000
    OJ Mayo 2013 Salary: $4,020,000
    JJ Redick 2013 Salary: $6,190,000

    DH12
    Pau
    Ariza
    OJ Mayo

    Nash

    Hill
    Clark or Jamison
    James Jones
    Glock
    Blake/Morris

    Irving ain't coming .....

Isn't he (irving) a restricted free agent that year? Am I wrong or did the CBA change? Normally, max restricted free agents don't leave...

    Youre right. Team Option
    http://www.hoopsworld.com/2014-nba-free-agents

Oh well. I guess we can settle for John Wall or Ricky Rubio?

But Kyrie + Love's shooting would be extremely hot.

2013: DH12 then eventually OJ Mayo and Chandler Parsons

    DH12
    Pau
    Parsons
    Mayo
    Nash

2014: John Wall or Ricky Rubio

    DH12
    Pau
    Parsons
    Kobe/Mayo
    Wall/Rubio

2015: Kevin Love Post Kobe, Nash, Gasol era

    DH12
    Love
    Parsons
    Mayo
    Wall

    dudes.....

1 Irving will be a RESTRICTED F:A so you can forget bout him.

2 Love, is always injured.................and has not had a good behaviour towards the team this year.

3 Buss SR is dead and we are in the hands of his most incompetent son, whatever tricks we pulled in the past, reamin in the past.

    1. My take: Good for us.

Kevin Love has stated “He will leave Minnesota if the Timberwolves don’t make the playoffs this year”

    2. Mitch is still around, and Ive got faith in him.

    3. Lakers will forever be competitive and stars will always go and remain in Hollywood.
