At best we are 6-10 this year and even that is a far stretch

Just kidding. That's a helluva schedule though... But to be the best you've got to beat the best. (And I don't mean just this year.) It'll benefit the team in the long run.

Damn that does look like a tough schedule. Maybe it could help all our new players to be more competitive. That Thanksgiving game with the Cowgirls is going to be interesting to watch. I hope we get an upset special with our turkey! lol

Don't think it's that tough to be honest. Sure the broncos are. However, we have the reds kind early in the season and they won't be using RG3 in the option much early. Pittsburgh is washed up IMO. The eagles haven't played well since the dream team formation, the giants are hot and cold as well.

how is this a tough schedule. I read a report on NFL.com and CSN Bay Area on how we have the 3rd easiest schedule in the NFL. Those articles dont mean much but on paper I think we got a shot to be 8-8 or better.

We are terrible when traveling to the East coast, and we have to visit MetLife twice. 5-6 wins max is my prediction.

FINALLY....a Thanksgiving game. I've been waiting decades for this. Last I recall we have never played on Thanksgiving......and against the cowgirls. I love it.

As far as the schedule being tough, how can anyone tell? teams change sooo much from one season to another. Last years playoff teams may not even make the playoffs this coming season. Every season is a new season for everyone.

Didn't the Raiders have a game like that against Dallas a few years ago? 2009, I think?

I agree with the rest of your post. Every season, some team that was left for dead makes the playoffs; another team that was a 'lock' to make the playoffs don't make it.

I never would have guessed the Chiefs in '11, or the Colts / Redskins in '12.

Your right. Oakland played Dallas on Thanksgiving in the last regular season meeting.

I was just reading and watching that last regular season meeting with the Cowboys on NFL.com, I remember that game now, we got torched on the ground and both teams were wearing throw backs. I think I turned it off and forgot all about that game.
