Milwaukee guard Brandon Jennings attended the Wisconsin Sports Awards Thursday night at the Harley-Davidson museum to accept an award for his work in community outreach programs. He was only asked three questions, but he sure made the most of them. He also made a very bold prediction:

"I'm real confident. I'm sure everybody is writing us off but but I see us winning the series in six."

Maybe after noticing that everyone in the room had their eyebrows raised, Jennings smiled. "There's no pressure on us!"

Here are photos from the red carpet event, including Jennings' stylish shoes.

More than 100 media members as well as sports business professionals from throughout Wisconsin voted for the awards, which recognize the best in Wisconsin sports at the high school, collegiate and professional ranks in the calendar year 2012.

Predicting a series win in 6 is laughable. Honestly, I'd be pleasantly surprised if they lose the series in 6 games.

I don't blame him. What is he supposed to say? He would have gotten railed had he said I hope we get to 7 or something.

I didn't thi k I'd be excited since we are playing a vastly superior team and we had a poor season, but I am excited for tomorrow. I know we aren't gonna win the series (even if we did win a few games, stern would never let it happen) but I hope we can play entertaining basketball and play some intense games. I'd love to win a game or two, but I hope we play at least 4 competitive games that come down to the wire.

Brandon Jennings smiled when asked about his Thursday night prediction of the Bucks over the Miami Heat in six.

Hey, somebody had to stick up for the Bucks, right?

"We were joking around," Jennings said after the Bucks practice session Friday at the Cousins Center. "I was joking around with Aaron Rodgers before I even said it.

"Of course it's always going to be taken to the next level. But at the end of the day, we're getting bashed on ESPN. We're getting bashed on TNT, anyway. Now that I say we'll win in six, now it's a problem."

The Bucks have struggled to the finish line of the regular season, losing five in a row before beating a team of Oklahoma City reserves on Wednesday night. They know they will have to play much better to be competitive with the defending league champion Heat.

"It's going to take a team effort, of course," Jennings said. "We're going to have to really take care of the ball. We're going to have to be dialed in for 48 minutes.

"That's the only way we're going to have a chance to win. And we're going to have to get up and down and run. We're going to have to find a rhythm and play through the rhythm. Team ball is going to be the reason we could be successful."

This will be Jennings' first playoff experience since his rookie year in 2010 when the Bucks lost to the Atlanta Hawks in seven games in a first-round series.

"I know guys are excited, guys are anxious, especially guys who have never been (in the playoffs)," Jennings said. "That's just a good sign.

"I look at this as a big challenge for us, just going into next year. Especially for the city. We'll be on the biggest stage. It will be good for the city; it will be good for us just to get that exposure. Just to see where we really are."

If the bucks lose to the heat ill be rooting for them the rest of the way.

Bulls fans are so salty about the heat so there will at least be that.

I'll be watching every game that's for damn sure. I missed most of the games down the stretch so I didn't see them struggle so I'll choose to be ignorant about their chances.

    GO BUCKS

This has been a rough start. 0-4 from the line sucks. Monta with a few TOs too. The bucks need to actually play some defense as well.
