Potential trade partner for the 1st pick....

Top of the morning guys. I read this article about the Bills bringing Geno Smith in for a workout and they also talked about the Cardinals wanting him at the 6 spot. Are these potential trade partners for the Raiders 1st round pick? If so, anybody have any idea what we would get in return? How much is moving up 4 or 5 spots worth? Would we get their #8 pick plus their second and more?

Anything near that would be ideal but alot can change from now to the draft...a trade down would definitely be the best case scenario for us. Their first, second and maybe a 2nd or third rounder next year would be amazing. i can dream...

I think it was BB that broke it down in another thread yesterday, PM him and he will probably tell you where it is. IMO yes they could be trade partners, depends on how bad they want it.

Buffalo would need to send us their #8, #41, #71 and #105 to move up to #3.

    I still prefer a trade with St. Louis....we send #3 and #66 to the Rams for #16, #22, #46, #78 and #113.

I'd happily toss in McFadden to sweeten the deal.

It's points based system. the 3rd overall is worth 2200 points. if AZ was to trade their 1st and 2nd, the 7th over all is 1500pts, the 38th is 520. so if Reggie wants into the second and they want there guy bad enough we will probably get a 5th or 6th next year as well. 5th round drops from 50pts to 27 pts so you see how 6th-7th guys are valued.

    Bills 1st(8th) 1400pts, 2nd(41st) 490pts

I'm hoping we can trade back again get another 2nd, 3rd and and a few 5th-6th round guys as we don't have a 5th round pick (curry).
Also, we pick 3rd every round so teams may be willing to part with a 6th or 7th to move up to get someone. we have 7 picks to start, let see if RM can double that!! I would be very impressed with that alone.

Potential trade partner for the 1st pick....

^damn, love that St. Louis trade scenario. And don't tell me Rams couldn't use DMC, especially losing Jackson and needing another playmaker for Bradford

They have Richardson and Pead. Both of whom they really like. They aren't drooling for an oft-injured RB. I wish they'd be a trade partner but people are only focusing on the Geno Smith factor. Philly will probably be very interested in Dee Milliner, so if anyone really wants him they'll have to move up past them to 3. Floyd? Lots of possibilities

^^ would be nice to trade to the Eagles in the 4 spot then be able to trade the 4 spot to Bills to jump ahead of AZ. Take our pick at #8 or play some more, but I would like to see us get a top 10 player as well.

I am all for a Trade with the 3rd pick of the Draft to anyone. Plus I would rather have Geno Smith sign with the Bills then the Raiders.

I think it will be the Bills. I also think we will rob them blind because Ralph is an old crazy owner right now. He has already stated he will do whatever it takes to get his QB. He also backed up the claim by tossing Fitzy to the curb. Its owners like this that will give up a boat load to get one thing they want (sound familiar).

It would make sense for them to trade with us so they can get ahead of the Eagles. Who are slotted in most mocks at picking Smith up.

    Good call.

The Rams would give us the best deal if we want to trade our pick ,but if anyone should give up a player in the deal it should be them .There is a player named Long who's father was a great Raider wonder how he would do in silver&black great i bet.

^^Rm wouldn't take on that contract even if it were remotely possible.
