Rick Adleman may leave Timberwolves after this season

    http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.c...ssues-persist/

Very sad news to have to keep hearing. Let's just hope his wife's health will be OK. If not for injuries, I think we'd be surprising a lot of people this season.

    Thoughts?

It would be a shame if he didn't get win #1000. Tough stuff his family must being going through though.

    Flip Saunders anyone?

    PSD Grammar Lesson #1:

    a) their - stands for "belonging to them"
    b) there - means "over there" as in location
    c) they're - short for "they are"

If Adelman leaves, I want Kahn gone as well. But then we go through yet another year in Love's contract with flipping an important portion of the organization. I just don't see how we ever end up good, its so frustrating.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Can't we have a Co coach? Saunders and Adelman should share the role.

If Adelman does indeed leave this offseason, why not bring this guy back?

I don't see any way Hoiberg would leave the Cyclones. I just hope that Rick decides to come back.

Fred Hoiberg's current contract is at 1.6 million a year, Rick Adelman's current contract is 5 million a year, the average salary for NBA coaches is 3.4 million. It would be hard to turn down an offer that is double what he is currently making.

I don't want a rookie coach. I prefer an experienced coach with a "win-now" mentality.

Hoibergs family is an Ames I don't see him coming to Minnesota. We do have a history with him so I wouldn't be surprised if we make that call but does he want to be an NBA coach with a lot longer season. Minneapolis isn't too far from Ames but I just don't see it. He is very Happy at ISU
