When it comes to Loria, it's ALL about the fan experience.

Can totally understand why they dont want to pay that kind of money to see these Marlins now. The fans that agreed to 25,000 clams probably did so under the impression that they'd see Buerhle, Hanley, Reyes ect ect. In the end, they did sign the contract and are obligated to pay. It all comes back to the Marlins basically having no intregity. Hopefully people learn not to enter into any type of contract with anything related to Loria. He has a history of bleeding people dry of resources. Have to compare him to a sketchy Craigs list add, business wise, at this point unfortunately.

The Marlins are probably the biggest joke franchise in all of the 4 major sports leagues, nothing surprises me about them anymore.
    Favourite Teams:

Boston Red Sox: 63-80, games this week vs. Orioles (3), Royals (4)
Indianapolis Colts: 0-1, Week 2 vs. Eagles
Minnesota Timberwolves: New team, hoping for good things this season.
Ottawa Senators: 37-31-14, season over, free agency begins this week.

As much as I want to agree here, they have 2 titles in the last 16 or so years. Not a great success rate there but its better than a ton of teams in the league. This season is going to be rough for them though no doubt.

The Marlins are an absolute SHIET organization. How the hell the MLB has not done something about this team is beyond me.

I am even more shocked that someone is willing to buy season tickets for the Marlins.

In the sense that they have had huge roster turnover every couple years? I am well aware. My point is that this is how the Marlins have operated since before Loria became the owner in '02. They won a championship in the last decade using this same method.

I don't agree with how its handled personally, but again, ask a team like the Pirates or the Royals if they'd prefer it the Marlins way or their own decades long of sucking ways.
