Anyone think there is a remote possibility? Plus other RB ideas

    http://www.prosportsdaily.com/articl...rs-239494.html

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers have expressed interest in signing free-agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday.
kinda surprised no one mentioned this, especially cuz it was on the psd website. as much i hated bradshaw in those ugly colors he used to wear, i wouldnt mind giving him a shot. i mean being a headcase AND coming off surgury, he cant be demanding too much $$... this is a classic tt signing Lol

as for our rb situation i wouldnt mind seeing

    *draft pick
(dont know much about college players to name drop but i heard this class isnt too bad)
    *harris
    *bradshaw/starks
(fight to the death for last spot)

It's been talked about in the free agent thread. I don't think we'll go after him that hard.

How is being a headcase and coming off surgery classic TT FA signing? lol

Anyways the foot scares me but like the talent.

I still wish we'd go after Dwyer. It's only a 6th rounder! Big deal!

Doubt you'd see Bradshaw and him fight for the last spot. Bradshaw if he's smart is going to want 3 years and try to steal some guaranteed money. You're not going to give that up to let him fight for a spot. Kid would easily be our lead back if we signed him. Or that would be the plan.

People are dreaming thinking he only wants a mil and some change or will take a short deal.

I'm still thinking 2.5ish. 3 years. He'll be begging for guaranteed money with that foot problem.

I read Tampa is trying to trade Blount.... It wouldn't be the first time Trader Ted has given up a 6th round pick for a RB......

Dwyer signed ages ago...get with the times lol.

Dwyer signs his tender: Jonathan Dwyer signed his one-year tender from the Steelers, locking him into the 2013 season at a $1.323 salary according to ESPN. He'll be in a contract year this season.

I like how Ball would fit in our offense & im not even a badger fan so im not being a homer like some packer fans who want him.

Am i the only one that thinks Bernard is a better fit than Ball and Lacy? He did a majority of his runs out of the shotgun last year and is a good reciever out of the backfield.

    No. He he is.

MAYBE not Ball but definitely Lacy.

Headcase. No pass skills. Limited blocking ability. Not a ZBS runner.

Wow, this is going to be a first for me.

He's a guy who averages 4.5+ his career. Coming off 1000 yard season. Has a lingering foot injury but in his career hasn't ever missed a ton of games. Finds a way to play through it.

Catches the ball well when asked. Runs like a bull. Has good solid speed. Nice wiggle. And is solid in the blocking game.

    There's plenty of appeal.

The cons are the injury, obviously. He's a little bit of an odd cat. What the contract looks like. If it would stop Ted from drafting a back for the real future.

I would love Brashaw. I think he's better than Jackson.

I kind of think he will have to take a short contract. Otherwise I don't see a team taking a risk on him with his injury history. I also believe he will be having surgery or did recently on his foot. probably 1 year 2 mil. 2 years at the most IMO.
