    something that im bitter about

1300 pts and 500 rbs Only players to do it this year is kd and lbj LaMarcus Aldridge. After all the faith i've put into the team this little stat thay seems to have nothing to do with the raps, burns me like a cow being branded. Am i alone? ive watched LaMarcus Aldridge's stats since he joined the league. And i was listening to to bc explain why he had chosen international unknown bargz over a north American "big" like Aldridge was adridge was redundant with the former CB4. I may be just a bitter die hard raptor fan. That one pick staring 7 years back, i find myself cursing a little harder and wanting a change at the top and just intrim stefanski with vthe opportunity to earn the job. He could release casey and get coach shaw outta indi. I seen on twitter that hes asst. Coach but hes Vogel's mentor, which makes me believe that he is the real brain behind Indy's success. He as played for Phil Jackson also was an assistant to the zen master for several winning years. Regardless i like the make up of how we are now. Am i just blimd

A struggle to read. But I don't think it was a bad decision at the time picking Bargnani over Aldridge. I don't think it really make sense to have redundancy on a team, especially when 1 is a rookie.

You lost creditability when you said Bargnani was an international unknown

I am happy we didn't take Morrison.

I am curious Workman, did you want them to take Aldridge at the time?

So basically this thread was made because Workman wasn't getting noticed with his opinion on Bargnani and BC in the other 100,000 threads about the exact same thing due to his terrible grammar and punctuation?

I wanted Rudy at the time but I wasn't mad at the fact that we took Bargs. Every analyst and player was raving about him at the time so it was really tough to see the situation we are in play out. Regardless, are you really still upset about a pick 7 years ago? Out of all the things to complain about with this Raptors squad, you're calling for BC's head now because of that?? You're clearly not all that knowledgeable either, wanting Stefanski to run the show. I'd rather take my chances with BC.

well you can't be disappointed with the bargnani pick...if the raptors had selected tyrus thomas, adam morrison or even a guy like sheldon williams im sure everyone would look back and say ..we missed out on aldridge and even bargnani...even a guy who had greatness written all over him in brandon roy had issues and look at him now struggling to play...the best player out of the draft would have been rondo but im sure there would have been a riot like when the canucks lost in the stanley cup finals if the raptors would have selected a guy like rondo...the raptors obviously didn't end up with the best player from that draft but they could have been worse off

BC wanted Rondo. He tried to trade for a pick in the 17-22 range to get Rondo. He saw the talent. Sheldon WIlliams was never considered a top pick. Only way we would have taken him is if we had traded down (which is what I wanted the team to do... trade down not take Williams).

You mean like the #20 pick that Embry traded away because BC wanted cap space immediately more then he wanted the pick?

Looking back on it, our draft picks from 04-06 was what ultimately made the Bosh-era a complete flop.

This. I was scared we were going to take him with our need for a SF back then.

I actually think he was trying to trade with the suns but they wouldn't make a deal with him because they were bitter.

Dude i type on a touch screen so excuse my grammarAnd spelling. And i wanted Aldridge that draft, over morrison rondo even roy. Aldridge was scouted as a young bosh a the time. Yeah it was redundant but we coulda had a twin tower thing. Rasho was our center (if im wrong correct me) at the time, and we lackeda decent cente. Before bargz was drafted who reLly knew about him. Aldridge was the anchor of his texas team. and yes i made the thread cuz i didnt feel to ***** and moan about it but since you pointed it out. Well played shaqs
