Who are your top 5 candidates to win MVP next year?

    1.Peyton Manning
    2.Tom Brady
    3.Aaron Rodgers
    4.Calvin Johnson
    5.Cam Newton

I think Peyton is the favorite right now just because he has so many weapons on offense Thomas/Welker/Decker.

Cam Newton is a darkhorse, I think he will have a bounce back season and throw for 4,000+ pass yards and rush for 1,000+ rush yards.

I don't think Peterson will have many carries next year with the addition of Jennings, I think they will try to keep him fresh for the playoffs.

when's the last time a WR won MVP? serious question.

it won't happen. because either the WR has a bunch of crazy stats (like calvin last year) and the team record is bad so he doesn't get any real MVP consideration.......or the WR has a bunch of crazy stats and the team record is good which likely means the qb has a bunch of crazy stats himself.

Megatron is a beast, he is arguably the best player in the NFL. He will have a chance if he breaks Randy Moss TD record.

Yes that is true, but he isn't gonna have the type of season like he did last year. Teams will focus on him much more, like maybe play man to man defense and make Ponder beat them with his arm.

Rodgers/AP/Megatron should win it every year. I am forgetting a few defensive people but yea those 3 guys are the best at their positions

    Cam Newton = no
Five rounds went by in the 2000 draft... After 198 other players had been chosen, the Patriots drafted him in the sixth round.
Owner Robert Kraft recalls the night he was leaving the old Foxboro Stadium when he saw "this skinny beanpole" carrying a pizza. "He comes up and says, 'Mr. Kraft, I'm Tom Brady.' I said, 'I know who you are, you're our sixth-round draft choice from Michigan.' "And he looked me right in the eye and he said, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' "

And still wont win or get votes or serious consideration for MVP even though they have to put 2 guys on him all game long and plan around him and focus on him week in and week out....The Lions would have to go 15-1 and he would have to break every record there is for a wide out and still PManning or any QB would win it over him.... It took AP carrying the vikings to win the award.... A wideout will never win it but should.
