ESPN Dallas reports that the Raiders are interested in free agent LB Kevin Burnett, and a "deal is possible."
The Raiders are remaking their linebacker corps, and Burnett would provide production and leadership on the cheap. Burnett, 30, is coming off a 110-tackle, 2.5-sack campaign where he graded out as the No. 4 4-3 outside linebacker in Pro Football Focus' ratings. Newly signed Nick Roach is currently the Raiders' only viable starter at linebacker. Mar 16 - 12:49 AM

Burris might not be safe but thats a good thing because only the best deserve to be on the field, but if he is on the field then he most likely earned that right.
These additions of of experienced well coached players that are from what we know stand up citizens is something that the raiders have been missing.
Those days of partying the night before or anytime during the season dont exist anymore because they need to play at 100 every game and practice. This is their job and "WE" pay to see them at their "BEST" so they should be at their "BEST" and only the "BEST" should take the field.
