I'll pass on the kool-aid. People were comparing Reggie Bush to MVP Marshall Faulk. Still missing 2 DE, another corner and at least 1 OLB (Strongside, but I don't like Levy that much on the weakside). Most teams win championships via the draft, we'll see how well the rookies can produce.

The D is the same except Avril has been replaced with a DT/DE and Spievey has been replaced with Quin.

You can make an argument that it's worse. We don't have a proven DE and Levy is our best linebacker.

I don't mean to be negative, but these moves saved us from being a bottom 5 D, they didnt make us top 5.

Stop hyping us up. I hate how I have to be the downer in most of these threads, but someone has to keep the fans in reality. Reggie Bush will make us more efficient, but we were a top 3 O last year. The D isn't even that insane. We got a better safety and we are still missing many key pieces.

Yeah it's a bit early for celebration. The LBs are still weak, the DE spot needs help. It's a good start but works still needs to be done.

If we can get 3 more starters on D from FA/DRAFT and last years rookies DE/CB/LB our D will be vastly improved, Right now its to be seen, Which i think its pretty fair to ask..

And I would like to see how our DE's play. Can't play any worse than Vanden Boesch did can they?

I said we would miss playoffs last year, this year Im a bit more confident. Sleeper SB pick, odds are paying like 60 to 1 so I'd lay 20 bucks on us.
