With Dansby gone, I guess I found a new guy to ride all season.
Dolphins agreed to terms with WR Brandon Gibson, formerly of the Rams.
The Jets' top free-agent target is taking his talents to South Beach. Gibson is the latest mid-level talent to join GM Jeff Ireland's burgeoning "Dream Team," and should be slotted into his ideal role of No. 3 receiver with Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline already in the fold. Gibson can move the chains and is a threat in the red zone, but offers nothing after the catch and is prone to mental mistakes. His 108 yards after the catch were an absurd 167th in the NFL last season. With just one 100-yard game in 54 career contests, Gibson won't be a major threat for fantasy value as the fourth option in Miami's passing attack.![]()

You guys complain about every move.
Not pleased at all, especially if we do decide to part ways with Bess. Also it should be nowhere over the amount of 3M or else this is going down as a bad signing regardless of his production.
Gibson is terrible. Can't separate from DBs, and drops easy passes.
This is certainly the first time I've complained, even though I'm partially new. I've liked the movement so far; getting younger and faster while still having money to spend on any necessary positions we might need. Gibson just happens to be someone who is prone to mental mistakes and also will limit Bess' playing time/or just get cut. Plus we need to start thinking about those necessities like OT, CB, etc. and stop worrying about positions we already have filled.
We have 4 picks in rounds 2-3 which are prime rounds to get a lot of value from the receiver position. We also re-signed Hartlin and signed Wallace. Don't get it Get DE and corner depth.

This is the first move I've hated and/or complained about.

Super Bowl!!Out of 106 WRs who took at least 25% of their team's snaps in 2012, Gibson's 2.2 yards after catch average ranked 102nd. #VFAC.

Brandon Gibson, St. Louis: Among players targeted at least 50 times, only Tampa Bay's Vincent Jackson and New Orleans' Lance Moore got first downs more consistently than Gibson, who moved the chains on 84.3 percent of his receptions. (He was also third when taking first-down percentage out of the 82 times he was targeted.) Potentially excellent value.
Seems pretty good to me
