this guy gets called for holding 10 times a game

will have to bench him vs NE or he might cost us 200 yards by himself

Jets signed OG Willie Colon to a one-year contract.
Pro Football Focus graded Colon as a top-15 run-blocking guard and top-25 pass-blocking guard in 2012, but charted him with the most penalties in the league at the position. Turning 30 in April, Colon figures to replace Brandon Moore as the Jets' starting right guard. New York now has four starting offensive linemen in place: LT Brick Ferguson, C Nick Mangold, RG Colon, and RT Austin Howard.

Wow colon stinks. Hes gonna replace moore as our starting right guard. He graded out as the 15th best run blocker and 25th best pass blocker and he had the most penalities at the position last year. Great signing, sarcasm.

Maybe with better coaching he can quit it with the damn penalties.

Sadly coaching hasn't been a high point for us as of late.

You guys are sooooo ridiculous. "OMG we didn't get an ALL PRO player" OMG OMG the sky is going to fall. Rex will get fired and Idzik is an idiot."

Can you guys quit *****ing for a minute. We all knew that we didn't have a lot of cap to work with and guess what we are retooling this year. Doesn't mean we spend half of our cap to get a big time player. Fact of the matter is, competitive teams don't spend in FA. Tell me how Philly and Buffalo have been these last two years after they gave all these guys huge contracts. Teams like GB and Pittsburgh hardly ever make huge signings. They build through the draft and make smart low budget signings.

And that is exactly what the Jets are doing. We are spending our money wisely. We are spending it on cheap guys that have the potential to become very good in the next few years. I LOVED the Goodson signing just because he looks like a perfect fit in our offense and is an extremely good receiver out of the backfield. You guys *****ed and moaned about not getting Bush but we got a potential Reggie Bush clone for a much cheaper price.

Colon is a good signing. He is an upgrade over Slauson and perhaps Moore. If we can just get him to cut down on his holding penalties, you guys will really like him. He's a good leader and unlike Slauson and Howard isn't one dimensional. He's a good pass blocker and run blocker. He doesn't just excel at one.

Hopefully we can sign Barnes or Butler on a cheap deal and then I am still hoping we can sign Kolb, who actually was leading the Cardinals to a 4-1 record before he got injured. He knows the system and still has upside. Threw 8 TDs, 3 INTs and had the 15th best QB Rating last year.
