I like the direction we are going. Buy, buy, buy…forgo the future for the now I say. We have the best QB and WR we are ever going to have. Throw everything at that while we still have it.

I'd add Sedrik Ellis to the list at DT he didn't pan out for the Saints but a lot of guys on the DLine that don't work out else where have done good for us guys like Lawrence Jackson (Busted in SEA worked out in DET) , Corey Williams (Did Terrible in CLE did good here) Turk McBride (Was decent that one year sucked in KC then sucked after signing with Saints) I really think Ellis as the 3rd DT behind Suh and Fairley would be a great fit

Winston would probably be the cheapest of the 3. I'd love to get Vollmer but I'm not sure the Lions have the money for him.

I'd love to see vollmer. Is the draft Still set up where if u run out of time u can just pick whenever basically. Cause I'd let like 2 or 3 teams leap frog us and then just take the leftover, prolly bjoern Werner. He may not be the Athlete like ziggy or Jordan but that's the conceiving thing about early drafted lineman. We all know the line can be made off of solid later round picks with say a couple big names to pull it together.

Anyways, if we could sign vollmer, and maybe kherry rhodes cheap, we could draft Ziggy or Werner, Robert woods, Logan ryan(CB/s), Brian Schwenke(c/g) in that order.

Would gladly welcome aaron Dobson, kenny stills, denard, dion sims or Michael Williams, Jon cooper or blaize Foltz, sanders Commings, Robert Lester, cooper Taylor, and bjoern Werner.

    Make me happy mayhew!

Really. Bennett tooks 1 year 5 million to go to Seahawks. Damn that team is loaded but why couldn't we match that instead of Jason Jones. I mean I love Jones but still Bennett is a pro bowl type talent. But Seattle is stacked on the defensive line next year. Mebane, Clemons, Bennett, Avril. Who is going to star their???

Really. Who would do that??? Decide who you want and take them. Don't go with the last possible option you go with the best available. Baltimore did it a few years ago and NO jumped them and took someone they may have wanted. And I would rather have Ansah over Werner. Werner has reached his sealing and Ansah's is so much higher. Plus we already know he can be a star in the wide 9.

Werner has not reached his ceiling...thats just the dumbest thing to say. Werner had the best ratio of non coverage sacks in college last year. Half of Ansah's sacks came at the 5 second mark...everyone is looking at this Ziggy guy as the next JPP when in fact he is probably more likly the next Mike Mamula.

Man, I wanted Bennett. I guess Osi, Abraham and Freeney are the best available now. Wouldn't mind any on a 1-2 year deal.

Kind of doubt it though. Those guys want to go to a SB contending team last I saw/heard.

If you can't get any of those guys, I'd turn my attention to the corner market where there are plenty of bargains to be had like a Brent Grimes.

I wonder if they knew backus s plan this weekend and prepared FA for that. Maybe they already spent the $ his retiring saved us.
