Hopefully Mac is in net. Wings know his weak spots.

Funny seeing Commie out there on the highlight you posted Lionsfan. He sure was a d--k wasn't he?

That reminds me of all the abuse Holmstrom used to take. Very few players can take that and not retaliate. I know I wouldn't be able to lol

Oh yeah. He had at least 7 penalties on one play lol.

Always seems the Wings are the victim of some cheap shots from the Flames. I remember one of the Flames goalies took his stick and struck one of the wings players with it a few years ago after getting his *** kicked. I can't remember the goalie though.

I always thought if he had been given a better chance he would have been that type of player for us.

Maybe after the game the Wings can make a trade and leave with Iggy for the rest of the season. Hey, if the Flames will rent him to us on the cheap, we will give him back at the end of the season. If, they'll take Colaiacovo and Samuelsson off our hands we'll even consider taking Bouwmeester with us too.

Sounds like a plan. Where do I sign off on that?

I liked Mac, he helped us big time last year, kept the streak going too.

Howie's out for tonight? I'm seeing news he's got the flu. Hope Monster's ready. Don't want another CBJ incident.

personal reasons= meeting with agent to look for a trade. Maybe White/picks for Iggy. Leave him there and bring Iggy back. Seems like a no brainer.

White + Tatar + 1st for Jaybo? You know Holland has to be looking at some kind of trade and this would be the kind of package they're looking for probably. It's probably overpayment but I think that's what it would take for Calgary to trade.

I don't see the Wings overpaying for any player and they don't need to give up their 1st round pick unless they get a long term roster player. The problem with Bouwmeester is his cap hit. There may end up being some cheaper rentals, if the Wings decide to pursue a Dman.

Big goal to start the game. This could be a huge confidence booster for the Wings.
