It was disappointing since it was a nice opportunity to make up some valuable ground, but after watching this one, this is just one of those games we weren't supposed to win. How many threes did we have rattle half way down then pop out? I counted at least 3 from the mid third quarter and beyond. Then there's plays like Crowder hitting that leaner 3 as the shot clock expires in the third and Carter getting unconscious late. The defense was disappointing for a good chunk of the game, but they also hit some fairly contested shots, especially late. That makes for a tough game to win.
Also, on Jennings, I know defense never was/is/will be his calling card, but the last two games he's looked awful on the ball. He seems to be shading his guy way too much and basically giving them a wide open lane to the hoop. And on some of these our help is late getting over, but either way, Jennings is barely even slowing his guy down, I can see why he is sitting.

I had to work OT so I only caught the last six minutes. It was enough for me to see VC drop some ridiculous shots. Disappointing. From what you guys said, sounds like I didn't miss much.
